Hi Everyone!
So lately I have gotten into the hobby of collecting cacti and other succulents. I tend to put them in mix bowl arrangements.
Could you maybe assist in the ID of some of the ones in the attached bowl?
Know C is (Astrophytum asterias) a star cactus, and F is Orbea variegata. But I have no idea what the others are.
Thanks!
Ruan

Re: Mix Bowl Identification
c is an astrophytum asterias, might suffer a bit mixed in with those other succulents, it requires less rich soil.
d is some kind of sempervivum.
b tephrocactus articulus possibly

Re: Mix Bowl Identification
Thanks for that! I do think you are correct with the identification of B. It looks like Tephrocactus articulatus var. diadematus. The Astrophytum asterias has been in that bowl for a couple of months and has flowered twice, so I think it's reasonably happy for now, but I am keeping a close eye on it though.
Re: Mix Bowl Identification
f looks like a Huernia
e look like Mammillaria gracilis

Re: Mix Bowl Identification
My best guesses:
A. Sedum or Crassula
B. Tephrocactus articulatus var. inermis
C. Astrophytum asterias
D. Sempervivum arachnodium
E. Mammillaria gracilis
F. A Stapeliad of some sort. I'd guess Orbea variegata, but it could be a Huernia like Teo said. Stapeliads are hard to identify without a flower. If it does bloom for you post again.

Re: Mix Bowl Identification
Thanks so much for all the help guys . F is an Orbea variegata cutting that I took myself from my main plant. I think you might be right on D, Saxicola. However, my favourite remains B, the Tephrocactus articulatus.

I would guess andromischus on A
