This is a picture off Ebay and I would very much like to know what it is so I can find one of my own.
Lithop? ID please.
Re: Lithop? ID please.
I think that is a Dinteranthus, which isn't a Lithops but is very closely related.
I'm now selling plants on Ebay. Check it out! Kyle's Plants
Re: Lithop? ID please.
I had wondered if it might be a Dinteranthus. I can't find any that are that pink, do you think its just a odd ball plant or photoshop?

Since the gravel around the plant also looks pink, I assume it's an effect of the camera, lighting, or photoshopping.

Could be D. pole-evansii, but shape is not quite right. What about Argyroderma?
Re: Lithop? ID please.
My guess is lithops ruschiorum nelii.
Re: Lithop? ID please.
The head shape is not normal for any Lithops or Dinteranthus. Argyroderma is more like it, although the colour would be way off for that. A bigger better photo would help, but I guess that isn't possible in this case.
If you just want a plant with that appearance, L. ruschiorum "nelii" might be the easiest to find and keep alive, although they often have some markings. D. pole-evansii is not that easy to find and not that easy to grow well. Argyrodermas are pretty easy to find, but not quite like Lithops. They are always completely plain and smooth though, so if that's the look you are going for ...
