A few I have lying around...

Post by melodies »

Just wondering what they are called so that I can look up their freeze tolerance. Sorry for the lack of clarity. Let me know if additional pictures and/or information is needed. Thanks in advance!

To me, looks like:

1. xCremnosedum 'Bronze'
2. maybe xGraptoveria 'Bella'
3. an Aeonium
4. an Agave

Thanks very much for the suggestions, Rosemarie. I've done some research based on them. I think you're right on 1, but 2's leaves seem less long than the pictures I looked up? For 3, how about Aeonium nobile or haworthii 'kiwi'? I'll try to take better pictures and do more research tomorrow.

My camera died and I need to get more batteries before I can take more pictures, but I got a few before it quit on me. As for the Agave, maybe Agave filifera 'Plain Jane'?

I think you'll find some variability on 'Bella'.

No, on Aeonium nobile. 'Kiwi' is a possibility, although it doesn't look quite like any I've seen. Can you tell me if there is any cilia on the leaf edges (tiny teeth-feel with fingers if you can't see)?

I'll have to look up some Agave. Didn't have time before & not really right now, either. Back when I'm able!

Better pictures of the other two, courtesy of new batteries. :)

I forgot to mention-- the leaf edges feel smooth on the Aeonium.

Maybe Agave parviflora for 4, a bit small to tell.
