Which one? The green one? Have a look at euphorbia mammillaris or fimbriata.
E. fimbriata is similar to E. mammillaris, but apparently it has more cone shaped stem tubercles.
Or the gray, leggy one? Alluaudia procera can look like that when grown in the shade, but I guess it could also be euphorbia milli.
Has it ever flowered?

the grey leggy one I have had for around 15 years. It get sun so I thought that was the way it looks. No it has never bloomed. In about a month it will get its greenery back. The green one in the front I thought was euphorbia Anoplia ?? Here is a close up of the green one. Will look up the names you suggested thanks

Oh yah, euphorbia Anoplia looks right for the green one, not enough detail in the first image to really see the red thorns.
The leaves of euphorbia millii are much different than Alluaudia so should be able to go by that once it leaves out.
Does it grow leaves all along the upper portion of the stems or just on the growing tip?
