Hi everybody - having made the mistake before, I'm guessing this is no cactus but could be Euphorbia - can anybody help,please? It's around 6 to 7 inches tall.

Hi,it looks like Euphorbia horrida that is etiolated in the middle.

Thanks for your expertise - we got it from the nursery like that and I guessed it had been in some way stressed in the past from the lack of spines. It now enjoys the Andalucian sun whenever it shines, which is most of the time :) Regards from Spain to The Mother Country.
