Caudiciform succulent?

Post by madaboutsnails »

I ordered a mixed lot of succulents off of Ebay and this came with them. I believe it to be a caudiciform plant. The bulb/tuber still had a little soil on it (they were sent bare rooted) I have buried it under its soil. What is it please? Is it even a succulent?

The leaves looked practically dead, but perked up after a good few waterings. The tips of the leaves will never recover :(

Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Angela

May have to grow it out to see. I think I see one fat root down there, might pot big and try exposing the upper roots in a few years. I have an un-IDed caudex or two. :)
