Thanks everyone. Buck,M.ernestii is definatly a posabillity, the spines look right.I guess I'll have to wait for a cephalium to develope. Maybe I will see that one at the next open house? Sweet cephalium!

Cereus ?

Is this a cereus? both are now 7 inches,18cm,and have 4 lobes.There is a small offset(not in photo)with wooly spines. Thanks everyone. I guess I will call it f.glaucescens partially nuda for now.but it certinly could be pottsii.At approxamatly what size would it be mature and can the spination change as it grows?Tony

It seems that now I may have yet another unidentifed cactus. :o Oh well, I wont throw out the tag just yet.My(cholla?)looks exactly like ihc6480's and I would also like to know what it is?

Hi Mike, My plant looks very similar when it's actively growing.with the small leaves growing from the branch tips.It must be resting right now because It has none. I have not seen it bloom yet. Tony

Hi I Think I have had that plant growing in my front yard about 5 years.
