I can assure Iann is right. I gathered a lot of seeds from my astros (around 1000) and most of them have germinated. They seem to be just too many to take care of.iann wrote:Today's little gem for free: once you grow from seed you'll always have too many plants

Yes, these were "offsets" from this plant. Even the pups are pupping now.
I believe the plant I have is a Astrophytum asterias cv. HAKUUN forma prolifera although I don't really trust this site much

Time for weekly update :-) Its astros all the way, asterias to be precise. 1. Its all about timing. :-) These were offsets from a grafted plant I rooted last year. I am really surprised to see how much they have grown in a year. As these are all offsets from a single plant, they wont produce any see...
