Those are looking fantastic - really great job!
IMO, I would definitely repot. When they get that crowded, their bases elongate and/or moisture is captured at the bases increasing the chances for rot. I find small seedlings are extremely tough and don't mind roots being disturbed at all.

Pedro's list (Spain, so would need USDA Import Permit) still has the species listed.

Gymnocalycium fucarivensis
Hi all! I purchased a couple of this Gymno last year because I didn't recognize the name - Gymnocalycium fucarivensis - and I love a good mystery. When I got home, I tried to figure out the correct name, but came up completely blank. I know an ending of " - ensis" denotes a place, but I ca...

jp29 - James Pickering
On March 30, 2022, we lost a great man and devoted cactophile - James Pickering - otherwise known here on this forum as jp29 . We started communicating over 10 years ago about Brazilian cacti from this forum. Over the years, we visited each other often and chatted for many hours at a time. I'd often...

I've used decomposed granite for top dressing, but I always sift out the fines first.

Re: Updated seed lists
Haven't heard from them since. Last time I ordered from them I had order number 76, and got the 'order is prepared' mail just before X-mas. If you've got a high order number they could still be handling it now. Good to know - I actually went back and noticed I did indeed get another email 2 weeks a...

Re: Updated seed lists
Did they send you an email already with the note "your order is prepared" ? No - the only response I received from them was the immediate automated email response I received when I sent in my order. Hello, we record your email and respond as soon as possible. Be patient, he handles emails...

Anyone receive anything yet from this place?Aiko wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 5:19 pm
- Then Cactus Hobby Brno in the Czech Republic updated its list in October. See: http://cactus-hobby.eu/.
I know they are notoriously slow-ish, but mine is going on 3 months, so just curious if he is moving through orders yet at all.
