some water is supplied by desalination, however, the govt in there wisdom has closed a public dam in harvey so that they can pipe that to perth; they are also trying to force farmers who build a dam to conserve water for irrigation to pay for the water they use, sounds pretty sus to me.

Iknow all about the water restrictions; we only have minor restrictions here in the sth west, but the pollies are intent on stealing our water to ship to perth, so our restrictions could get worse, but hey!
