Could this maybe M. sphaerica. I can't tell exactly from the pic, but looks close to me.

I used to have a plant like this one that came to me with the name E. cinerascens. It had stems that were a little thicker than enneacanthus, but otherwise looked very similar. Don't know the current taxomony and not sure if they even still recognize that name.
