I believe that is Cylindropuntia fulgida v. mammillata f. monstrosa, or Boxing Glove Cholla.

Sue, your plant looks like echinocereus scheeri.

Well, of coarse I missed it! flowers only open fully for maybe 8 hours?
Here it was late afternoon the 26. and the next morning about 7 am. Haggeocereus is it and I think versicolor v. aureispinus is a good bet.

You will need to see flowers before confirming but it looks like rhipsalis baccifera ssp horrida.
