Re: May 2017 Mammillaria theresae

Not exactly May but the first of them opened on June 2nd...not the colour I was expecting. Honestly I'm not even sure if this is M. theresae anymore. Flowers are close to magenta than light pink that prevails the web. Could this be a hybrid?

Re: The windowsill adventure of my seeds

Getting these Echinocereus rigidissimus ready for sale at the show this Sunday. Sadly, I have to get rid of most of these babies as I am in dire need of space for additional sowing  ...I planned to keep four of them for myself, and I couldn't pick the best ones :| http://i.imgur.com/YYBZuRr.jpg

Re: Crap got many pests....Thank you seller on ebay. Help on treatment.

It may be true that some pests during any stage of a collection are inevitable, but if I were a half decent online seller, I'd inspect my plants before I ship them to the customer. He wasn't publicly shaming the seller. If I ever want to order plants through EBay I'd definitely PM the OP for the sel...

Re: The Rotting Begins

The short answer is they are still alive The long answer is they all got anxiety attack and seized growing. A month since I exposed them to drier atmosphere and higher light, they blushed up and enter the 'hard grown' mode. Because I've been spoiled by ultra rapid growth under the baggie method, my ...
