Hi all, This morning I see something overnight took a chunk out of this tiny lithops that I got just yesterday. I've never had a damaged lithops before. I read if the core is damaged it won't grow new leaves. Do you think it will survive? Is there anything I can do to help it or must I just leave it...

Looks like Lithops hallii, from around Prieska and Hopetown. Rain concentrated in February/March, winters dry, summers hot. Normal treatment in northern Europe is to leave them dry over winter until the old leaves go away, water moderately through late spring and summer into autumn, then stop water...
