Re: Moss
Ok thank you! That makes sense. The seedlings are very tall so I guess that's why they don't care. Luckily there are no signs of moss in any of my shorter seedlings pots.

Re: Beginner's Question on Heat and Germination
I had very few seeds germinate until I put a sunblaster over them. Now I have about 25 opuntias which had not germinated for over 2 months w/o the lamp.

I've been super interested in pollinating thanksgiving cacti
But my 3 plants all bloomed at different times this winter. Now my white one is blooming again for some reason! How do I get them to bloom at the same time and multiple times a year.

Moss
So, when researching about how to grow cacti from seed, I read many times about how to prevent moss. Now I'm in month 5 and moss has suddenly spread across one of my pots. My seedlings don't seem to care or notice though. What's so bad about this moss?

Seedlings with three points/leaves instead of two?
One of my opuntias and two of my saguaros have 3 leaves instead of two. Will this change how the plant looks once it's matured or will it look the same as the regular ones?

Re: Are all bugs harmful to seedlings??
I was mixing a fungicide into my water but no insecticide Q_Q It's only the one pot that has this problem but I even decided to replant the seedlings into a new pot and now the new pot has these worms too. Someone said hydrogen peroxide would kill em but that hasn't worked either. Guess I'll get ins...

Re: Another Lithops ID please
So the dark brown one isn't doing well... it was slightly wrinkled when I got it but now after pushing some of the dirt away I see that the base is completely shriveled
is there anything I can do to save it?

Re: Ordered cheap "mix" from the internet
I've searched google images and the forums and haven't found something that matches exactly yet. Do seedlings other than succulent turn red with too much sun or is it just succulents that do that? I'm still bothered by the size. Can succulent babies be as thin as an eyelash?

Re: Ordered cheap "mix" from the internet
My phone camera wont even focus on them =S they are that tiny.
They have reddish stems and two pointed green leafs at the top. The seller has offered me a refund but I don't want to accept until someone can confirm my thoughts that these are fake.

Ordered cheap "mix" from the internet
I know I know, bad idea. But I figured the gamble was worth the $2 when shipping alone is usually more than that :'( not good for poor students At first sight they looked like they COULD be cactus seeds. Small and black. A few have sprouted now and they look like my opuntia seedlings only a fraction...
