Re: Five cacti for identification
Number 2 looks like a young notocactus or echinopsis. But it's pretty young and hard to identify.

Very nice cacti, I really want to try growing geohintonias! I like the blue tongue, they are pretty cool skinks! I hadn't realized until just now that they were native to Australia.

Re: Have you had success ordering plants from outside your country?
I have placed a few overseas orders without proper documentation and it is a gamble all but one actually made it through but the one that didn't was confiscated and destroyed. So pick your sellers carefully. I can give you some recommendations if you want to pm me.

Re: Cactus Album app
I am working on cataloging my current collection with the iOS app. It is working pretty well, but I have alot to account for so it's taking some time. Do you think it would be possible to add a feature where you could upload more photos of the plant then arrange them chronologically so that you can ...

Re: cactus identification
Dave I debated Notocactus uebelmannianus, but I was looking at the spines towards the bottom of the picture and they seemed reminiscent of juvenile echinopsis spines. But it could very well be Notocactus.

Appears to be an echinopsis of some sort, but a better picture would make identification easier.

Re: Mammillaria theresae grafted
I got great germination from some this past spring... I accidentally killed them all but it was from dehydration not over watering. But overall germination was pretty darn easy.
