Re: Normal for Harrisia justbertii stock to cork along ribs like this?
I think it's fine, if you look at old Japanese specimens that are grafted the entire jusbertii stock is usually all corked, the black part yeah i agree is normal and is from the graft cuts originally but maybe too much moisture as well ? Not that it's a bad thing or anything just looks like its been...

Re: Do I need to regraft this Cintia knizei "rubra"?
Yeah regrant for sure i have a bunch of these as well, they do fine on either of those i personally prefer jusbertii at this point in my grafting but it's just because myrtles can sometimes get weird in winter or decide to rot for no reason, i don't get that with jusbertii. Re: Nontoxic systemic for mealybugs
Depending on what plants you have mealy bugs on they can be almost impossible to get rid of even with nasty systematic insecticide, which i will use about 3 times a year on most of my plants. They love asclepiads more than anything from my experience, i will scrape and pick and kill as many as i can...

Re: Justin Hethcoat's Collection
Wowza! Any advice on the Pseudolithos? All I ever heard when I was younger is how they difficult they are, but yours are so gorgeous I must get one! Keep it in a small pot, never repot, use only pumice and keep it warm during winter :D And use a systematic insecticide especially if you want to grow...

Awesome! Did you visit Petra Crist's Nursery (raresucculents) as well ? She is also in Rainbow and has a serious impressive collection.

Re: Gymnocalycium mihanovichii variegated
It's always a gamble with those Ebay seed sellers, I can tell you a few i have bought from that are legit. Firstly the best seeds i got were hands down from a seller out of Thailand Benji Lew: http://www.ebay.com/usr/benji_lew" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I got Pseudolith...
