Re: Every day new flowers in the greenhouse in Köln

Really nice KW! I am currently struggling with S. vanderietiae. It's monsoon season here, and it's getting lots of water. It's in full leaf, and S. herrei loves it, but S. vanderietiae has started getting a little bit of tip rot/drying. Is this something that's ever happened to you? Good evening md...

Re: Suppliers for Drosera seed

It always seems strange when the plants are first introduced they seem to be much harder to grow than when they become common, then they grow like weeds. Seed particularly seems more reluctant to germinate with new discoveries than a few years later when more plentiful, but that could just be habit...

Re: Summer heat

I just had my first plant ever croak from summer heat. A small Lithops lesliei that has been with me for a long time. On the positive side, all my epiphytes that are supposedly so heat-sensitive are doing fine and growing copiously here in AZ.

Anyone with some further advice on Rauhia peruviana? I tried sowing it twice before, without any results showing for it. Now I got another small batch to try.
No luck here either!

Hi James,

Beautiful specimen - thanks for sharing. I have not had luck with C. aureus seeds. I was just at my vet and he told me about your talk at the Historical Society. You are certainly a man of many talents.

Re: Updated seed lists

I know there's new ownership and they're overwhelmed, which is why I'm okay with a somewhat slower response. I also don't want to ping them needlessly, but it sounds like I should send an email regardless. My order is mostly mesembs. They put people who ordered mesembs in a separate queue because o...

Re: Updated seed lists

Still no word from Mesa Garden except for a confirmation of 'order received' two months ago, and I ordered on day one. That's 4 months and counting... Have you called or sent them a Facebook message? Did you order any mesembs? Mesa Garden was recently sold and repurchased. I'm pretty sure the new o...

Thanks! Aymeric and I have traded a few species, but he was sold out of the albiflora before I ordered. He's got a great selection!
