Re: Please help me ID my succulents!

#2 i'd guess is a crested echeveria agavoides. No idea on the others though, haven't got a lot of pachy- grapto- and echeveria knowledge, but most should fall in this group.

Re: help id my very mis labeled trailing succulent

looks like some kind of Delosperma (nubigeum?). As 99% of all succulents have the ability to flower, it shouldn't be too difficult to get it to flower.

Re: Has Anyone Ever Grafted A Carnegia ? (Saguaro)

i've seen a Carnegiea gigantea graft in a facebook group a few weeks ago, so it shouldn't be too difficult. was grafted on a Trichocereus grandiflorus.

Re: Hana's grafting in 2016/2017

interesting trial, however i don't think you'll be able to create chimera's, unless you're able to join the actual growth points together. Problem with that would be the higher failure rate (but also higher successrate), and how delicate the growth point is. Still looks cool though, with two scions ...

Re: Grafting on opuntia - what am i doing "wrong"

chamacereus graft indeed looks like it hasn't connected properly. The schlumbergera will likely keep growing fast but not super fast like other cacti when grafted. Depends on both the schlumbergera cultivar you graft and the stock you use. When grafted on larger hylocereus, almost any Schlumbergera ...

Re: Interesting grafting method

grafting the Schlumbergera opuntioides isn't really redundant, as it can be very picky and slow growing on its own roots, and go years without flowering. However i agree it isn't really necessary to graft the other two. Then again, those were probably done as a trial, to see how well it would work f...

Wow! Awesome color, a lot better then the previous one. If you have seeds of it, i'd be happy to grow some out for you ;) i really like the areoles too (and asterias cultivars in general)

Love seeing your grafts! Is the astro/ariocarpus graft to try to induce a chimaera?

Re: Grafting beginner

1: should work just fine for most cacti seedlings
2: i prefer to cut below the cotyledons as it usually leaves you more to work with and also a bigger scion (not a bad thing when grafting seedlings, i've had a few dry out just because they were too small)

Re: What now?

They look great! I would keep them in the tray until the new leafs have matured. Then you could pot them up individually (or together, however i would not reccomend this, as it often results in several not-so-great looking plants instead of one healthy plant) and let them grow bigger. Also those are...
