In the shed I need to be very careful with my water so I mix my ferts in a nine liter watering can and then transfer to a 2 liter and a 1.5 liter watering cans. The smaller one is fitted with an extension so I can reach to the back of my sh...

Re: Pedal pushers panel . Your cycles here.
Cool a bike thread I haven't ridden much lately but I still have a couple of bikes but mainly bike parts :( Love the old stuff as well as the newer stuff . Actually thinking about it when I got out of the bike trade and stopped riding was a few years ago so most of my stuff is now retro. Mostl...

Re: Shade cloth mail order?

It offers shade but reflects heat and also allows light through if that makes sense. My family has run large green houses for many years There...

Re: Louisiana Iris
It could be the photo or I could just be wrong. :) I never really took a great interest in them when I was younger I just got so used to seeing them in the hundreds all of the time in my fathers garden. That said as I have matured I do find some of them interesting. The Japanese and Louisiana have s...

Re: Louisiana Iris
Since most of my cacti are showing only buds now I figured I'd show blooms from our local state iris that I have in bloom now. Wasn't sure at first on getting them because I had a damp area near my greenhouse that needed something. I didn't know what the bloom colors were but now am so pleased with...

Re: Baking soil??
All of my seed mixes goes in the microwave for three minutes on high in plastic containers or pots in plastic bags all with the tops just open. I put it in for one minute then it sits for a minute and then repeat. I always get my mixes to the ideal moisture content before microwaving. I have an old ...
