Re: My first successful attempt
Hello, I have grafted hundreds of seedlings successfully onto Pereskiopsis, and I find that I get best results (and quickest growth) when I keep them in the humidity containers for 3 weeks. Once you take them out, and they start to harden off, the growth also slows down some. I'd say that 1 week is...

Re: Pereskiopsis species ID?
Well now it's put some growth out, i'd say that looks almost identical to a P. aculeata I have. It looks like it could do with way more light, though. Hope that helps! :D Definately helps and its getting 8+ hours of sun or close to it on my window seal. I will keep an eye on it though and move it i...

My first successful attempt
Ariocarpus trigonus seedling on a Perekiopsis. Just took it out of the humidity chamber after 7 days. Looks like it worked to me. I tried one of these and an ARIOCARPUS AGAVOIDES previously but both failed. I know exactly why they failed as well. I took them out of the humidity chamber after 3 days,...

Re: Pereskiopsis species ID?
Ok here is an updated picture of the one with the orange leaves. It came out of dormancy recently and started really growing. Any ideas which sub species this is?
Thanks,

Re: Opuntia Subulata Montrose
Could you expand on this a bit? I'm new to cacti collecting and any help would be appreciated. Perhaps if I post a pic I can get an opinion?hoteidoc wrote:The "monstrose" part you should be able to just see.

Re: Opuntia Subulata Montrose
Indeed they do, and I bought a little one in the 4oz pot, however the tag only says "Opuntia Sublata" excluding the montrose part. I want the montrose due to it's abnormalities and being a dwarf.
