thanks for the info, had a lot of luck with cuttings in soil.
the cutting that i placed in jar wasn't rooting so i put it in some soil and it recovered well.
i think next time i will use a longer cutting (15cm +) as the one i used was pretty short.

pereskiopsis cutting in water

So i recently purchased 5 peres cuttings of 10+ cm potted them all, except for one which i cut in half, potted one half, and put the other in a little jar with some water at the bottom. removed a few leaves so it would fit. i have to questions should I be adding nutrients at this stage or wait till ...

Thanks for the tip.
it's in a 10cm pot with cactus mix buried about 2cm deep so it doesn't topple over.
should i keep it in direct sun or rather in a shady spot? i have a feeling this guy is a lot less hardy than my myrtillocactus geo. so i don't want to make any mistakes.

i do have a few succulents as well and they're mainly indigenous. a friendly neighbour actually gave me most of them. when i have a moment i'll try and id them all, but i do know that i have a few Carpobrotus edulis going.

Hey guys, so I found this growing next to the parking lot at my office. The actual plant was at least 2m tall with several branches.
