Re: 3 Mammillaria cacti IDs request

hmmmm second one is probably going be hard without flower which sadly there's no currently buds on this plant but yes second one looks much closer to Mammillaria pringlei ...I wouldn't call #2 a pringlei. I know a couple of such plants, their spines are a lot thinner, longer and slightly curved. N....

Definitely no jelly beans!

Something like 20years ago, a little something tried to survive inside a Graptopetalum-thicket. It grew a very stright, thin twig with very small greyish green pebble-formed leaves. The twig was lignified. During these times it was said here in the forum that this was a Sedum pachyphyllum or Jelly B...

Re: Euphorbia pitica?

Hello Arash37,
did you also check out http://www.llifle.com/Encyclopedia/SUCC ... Euphorbia/?
May I propose that "pitica" might be just a fancy name for a hybrid or its clones...?

Well, I expect I won't in cold old Germany. :-( N. Late addendum: :D That C.peruvianus did flower last year in cold old Germany. But it dod ...

Re: 2 Diff. Anacampseros

Hello,
the 2nd plant looks familiar to me. I got one very similar at a conference of the FGaS (Scientific organisation for other succulents) as Anacampseros baeseckei. I would love to trust that name but are still arguing with myself if it might be a A.filamentosa.

Aloe ...who?

Hello everybody, years ago when my plant was very young, we tried to put a name to it & ended up with Aloe ferox. Then many said that it was too young to be named with confidence. So today I try it again as I am really not that secure. When I look at pictures of A.ferox in the net, their plants ...

Crassula pyramidalis flowering

Hello,
my Crassula pyramidalis is flowering! I had never expected such buds & flowers growing out of the end of a twig.
The diameter of the flowers is about 3mm (0.12in).
