Re: Miles' To Go Fall plant list out!

It must be the pink variant (danish moler) otherwise it will disintegrate and make the substrate h...

Re: One of the things you've always feared

I have tried to grow Astrophytum caput-medusae from seed and it has worked fine until Young robins have found their way into the greenhouse.Seedlings were scattered around and there were fewer to find after each visit. That happened Three years in a row-I don´t try to grow from seed any more.....

Re: Ariocarpus trigonus

It is certainly not a caudex, you can see the feeding rootletshigh up on the main root, so just bury the plant up to where the green starts as others already have said.

Re: Geohintonia! Etc.!

Winter is a good time to repot, since the plant isn´t going to be disturbed during its growing period and the roots will have time to heal before watering starts. Ortegocactus is as fast growi...

Re: How are you and your plants doing up north and east?

As it has been for Maja, the same has been in Sweden. Re: Geohintonia! Etc.!

Geohintonia might be a bit hard to grow on on own roots but if you succed it will have very nice flowers. It will also grow a very big root so a deep pot is needed .A.hintoni is very easy on own roots ,grows relatively fast and is a prolific flowerer.Highly recommended!
