Mammillaria confirmation please
Could someone please give me an ID for this Mammillaria? At first I thought of karwinskiana as it reminds of one that I already have (when it was younger though) P1140196 (Copy).JPG [ attachment=0]P1140199 (Copy).JPG[/attachment] Thank you in anticipation Susi

Re: relatively inexpensive greenhouse
Looks good Wayne, and from what I can make out it seems to be in pretty well protected area. The biggest worry is strong winds, but if it is secure to the ground then should resist (depending of course on how strong a wind you get) Where abouts are you? I also made what was originally a make-shift s...

Re: My First Big Flower!
I go along with Toe's ID. I have had one of these for quite a few years now, I always refer to mine as my "stinky plant" due to the rotting smell emitted by the flowers. I'm fortunate in that I can't smell it, but the flies definitely can and they normally arrive in drones to deposit their...

Re: A strange occurence
Only just managed to get round to replying on your photo as am up to my eyes doing videos etc. at the moment as the weather so bad this year my plants are really struggling due to lack of sunshine and constant clouds (on top of us that is, humidity in the 90's) they are all trying hard but without t...

Re: Every day new flowers in the greenhouse in Köln
Really nice plants. I like the Lophs. and am tempted to track some down, how difficult are they ? and how much cold can they resist? I'm being lazy in asking as I know I could look it up but you obviously have "hands on" experience which is the best.
