Echinocereus

I'm thinking some kind of Echinocereus. I do have several in the yard and could be a hybrid.

Willie, Waylon and the Boys. Old school country, mid 70's is a good start; The Outlaws, The Highway Men albums etc., 2nd is Classic Country. 3rd is New Country, a little too much Rock mix in. Nothing like a good Steel Guitar in a song, drinking, fishing, a beat up truck and a good woman. :) Is she g...

Echinopsis hybrid acting strange

To keep it simple, some of the clones do not have the same flower as the mother plant. The first photo is a picture of the mother plant flowers. This plant was given to me as an Echinopsis Stars and Stripes. The flowers are sawtooth and not the same color as Stars and Stripe. That is fine with me. T...

Re: Echinopsis hybrid id

In the lower left hand corner of the pot there appears to be a white spot. If this is part of the cactus body, it could be E. subdenudata/hybrid. The Echinopsis subdenudata is a globular, almost spineless or with very short cream spines that produces splendid night-blooming, white fragrant flowers u...

Re: doubts with these 2 cactus

Take a different picture angle to see the complete body of the first. Cephalocereus senilis does have courser hair and to my eyes, it could be. I need to see more of the plant.

Re: My GreenHouse Build.

Your kit is far better than HF and the door is no comparison. I built mine in 2013 and with discount it was just over $550. At the time I needed space and the money a little tight. The front greenhouse was built in 2010 and is made of redwood and 8mm poly. Enjoy, job well done. =D>
