I´m not envious  You´re at least two months ahead of us here in northern Europe! Have a couple of hundreds of both Rebutias and Sulcos so I´m expecting a show later on. Meanwhile I´m really enjoying your plants-what a show! :D

Well, if you are really careful when getting rid of the peat i can´t see that you should have any trouble with the continued flowering of your Noto. Your substrate choice seems to me like an ideal blend. But dont forget to give some nutrition...

So why are the Toumeyas grafted? Is it only for speeding up growth? I find them easy from seed but a wee bit slowgrowing. But they look rather ridiculous sitting on a stick,as so many others does ,too..... I can understand professionals that graft in order to get the plants big enough to sell, but ot...

So big and goodlooking plants.Wouldn´t mind if mine looked that way. Have a bit to go before flowers occur here in Sweden, but since we are going to have some sunny days ahead, maybe some will be seen next week.

Wild guesses but the first one is of course Yavia, the next two I believe are Coryphantas, the fourth is an Echinocereus and the last an Eriosyce. Can´t get closer than that.

What´s the difference between decaryi and spirotricha? My decaryi looks exacltly like your spirotricha... I´m mostly into cacti, but have maybe eight or ten Euphorbias plus a few other "weeds".

There is a thread at the BCSS forum that discusses how to pronounce names in the cactacae. I think the conclusion is that it doesn´t matter how you say the names as long as the one yoú are talking to understands what you mean and can easily translate it into the way he/she says it.
