well i got a new lot of red/white seeds today off a different supplier. sprinkled them on the surface and barely covered them. i think i may have planted the last lot a little too deep. hope these work. if they dont the FIL is getting macadamia seedlings ive been growing for christmas instead hahaha...

i wasnt having much luck finding the whole plants up here hence why i was attempting from seed. the only plant i have found was the red/white variety and that was the local markets (it was covered in mites).. if worse comes to worse and these new seeds dont take, ill order off the nursery or ill pok...

germinating dragonfruit. help!!!!!

hey guys, im attempting to germinate some dragonfruit (yellow, pink/pink and pink/white). i planted them in a shallow cacti mix in full-semi sun about 6 wks ago. about 3 wks ago we had a LOT of rain and a very large chill come over.. and ive had no growth at all. do you think the seeds have drowned?...

closest i could find was a "sedum rupestre" for the first one..

the last two pics are the same plant, just one showing the flower buds better.

the haworthia coarctata looks very much like the little guy..

looks like A. gypsophila to me. i have one of these and it has several pups right now that look exactly the same. be careful when they get big though, my biggest has ripped clean through my jeans!!

i have decided to repot him. the pot hes in now looks too small for his height and the dirt thats in there is really just dry dust. there is nothing to it.

so ill be carefull and get him a bigger pot with gravel and cacti mix and hopefully he will perk back up.
