Re: spine mealies outta control!

I'm having a problem with the little cheese hogs myself. A plant got into my collection late last year and was the epicenter. You can literally tell by the bugs how close they were to that one plant...

If you want to see a cactus learn Chinese you have to watch the movie "the secret life of plants". Its on Netfli, 40 minutes in a Chinese woman teaches a cactus the Chinese alphabet-too funny!

Nice! I have a ton of tomatoe plants going this year. They'll be staying inside for another month though I suspect.

Re: Garlic mustard

I ID'd it after I found it in my yard. Now that I know what it looks like its easy to spot everywhere. Every wooded area I drive by on my way to work is covered.

I got a few cuttings of this that never rooted over the summer and dried up this winter. I always wondered which side was up.

Re: something about cacti and water

Are there siblings in dirt to compare growth? I'm suprised the roots aren't just rotting in the water without O2 getting pumped in.

Nice avonia iann. Is it a pretty big one? We had record highs just about every day last week here. Fruit trees have started to blossom.
