No cacti had any labelling so just wondering what this is, hoping the blue-ish tint to it might help.

Thanks for that, I'll pop in to Tesco tomorrow and get a bag. Instead of using grit, could I use sand thinking about it? I know some mixtures use sand. Cheers for the info Iann. So is the Low dust cat litter is a substitute for perlite in your mix? or is the alpine grit the perlite substitute? I assume the former? Is tap water ok? or should I use bottled, or are they like carnivorous plants in that rain water or distilled water is necessary?
