Hi guys,
Has anybody in cultivation the variegated form of parryii truncata
How hardy it could be in ground and unprotected (I live in a 8a zone) ?
Thanks for your tips,
Franck

Re: Aloe Cosmo "Green pearl"
This plant appeared here in Europe a few years ago. It is said to be an Aloe aristata X haworthia hybrid, but not sure. Some say it could be hardy to 10F. Mine died at 5F but offsets survived. Watch out the snails & slugs who love it

15 sempervivum mix collection ID Thanks !
Oh I know what you're thinking : ' unnamed cultvivars will remain unamed' ! I even know that sempervivum change time after time turning their foliage color in accordance with season. But please have a look at those pics in my website garden :  http://exoticatolosa.e-monsite.com/album/c...

Thanks for your help. So, go ahead with O macrorhiza. I was suspecting it could be that one.

OPUNTIA ID (Blooming)
Hi,
I'm not an expert on opuntiads. Should be easy for you with the flower !
Anyway what you can't see is that the pad had no long spines on inferior part of it (only on 2/3 upside). General habit of the plant is pretty prostate. Thanks for your help !!

Re: Trichocereus cold tolerance
Here after winter 2011/12, down to 10F, all my tricho died (except huntingtonianus or so called identified very blue with black spines, in microclimate just next to the east wall of my house) : - pasacana - tersheckii - schickandenzii - spachianus died outdoor in ground, with no protections on them....
