Yeah, well i'm going with the Schultz Cactus Plus fertilizer Think these are the specs: Contains 2% nitrogen (0.5% ammoniacal; 0.5% nitrate; 1.0% urea); 7% phosphate; 7% soluble potash; 0.10% iron; 0.05% manganese; and 0.05% zinc It'll probly ask me to dillute it a good bit (which i plan on doing) b...

My own mix that I made for it is only topsoil and perlite. no fertilizer is in this new mix. i even soaked the perlite for a couple of days so that 0 fertilizer will be in it until i add the schultz cactus liquid in a month or so. i stress using the fertilizer, because i bought it for the small size...

I dont know, i'd say it was semi-wrinkled during dormant season, and after this first springtime watering it appears to be more wrinkled

Advice For The Wrinkled Cactus

I just watered this thing for the first time in over a month and it is straight wrinkled What should i do? I bought it some new fertilizer to help it grow the best this season, should i hurry and add that to the next watering?? haven't tried that fertilizer on it yet. i mean this thing does not look...

do i want to leave the clump of dirt thats attached to the cactus' root??

or remove that clump so its all the new mixture?

Repotting

Alright so I'm about to repot my cactus. By the sounds of it i should just put the cactus in its new pot/soil-mix and not water it for a couple of weeks?

how exactly do i safely repot a single cactus?
and how long before i add new fertilizer

so what should i do?

i dont want the miracle gro to be too strong for my little cactus. could i just soak the perlite in water for a day or two? i just wanted horticultural grade perlite without anything added...

i'm hoping a good soaking will leave me with what i wanted in the first place...
