I think your plant looks fine. Out in the hot Mexico sun, you are bound to get a pad or two that burn along the edge. Maybe a plant that shaded that part moved, lost its leaves or the Seasonal change of sun is now hitting that spot. I wouldn't worry about it. The rest of the plant looks great. If yo...

I just got a grafted plant from Thailand and it had Phytosanitary Certs from their Department of agriculture and also Cites permits.
had no issues with it.

I don't see hooks on the spines of your M. perezdelarosae. I believe that would makes it v. andersonii

They look so fat and happy! My grafted plant is not even half as fat. Love the color too. Mine starts out slightly green on top and turns purple-ish red.
Ordered grafted yellow-orange mutant and it should be here today. Looking forward to it. Next will be a red one.
