I found mealy bug on some on my plants...I don's see any in the roots, however I want to treat everything with the Bayer Tree & Shrub that I have read about. I am curious to know what concentration/mix you all loose...I would hate to loose my plants...I also struggle with ants, guess they got in...

I rec'd a beautiful Mam. Elongata vis eBay...it looks quite healthy, roots and all, but I noticed in the light, that many of the spines look to have a white substance on them...not lumpy or bumpy, powdery like...

Is this a sign of any particular problem?

After a lot of hot soaks, beta dine to the skin, and bactroban topically, I am happy to say , that for the most part after 2.5 weeks the pain is almost gone, thank goodness no infection...thanks all for your input, I also would rub tea tree oil on the skin...

Thanks for your input...I can't dig for them, too deep...but there is no sign of infection...I will be patient!

Hello All, I did a knee plant on one of my cactus plants a week ago...it is some kind of echinocereus hybrid...there is no infection, but there is still pain. I am guessing some spines are still in the tissue...I have seen my Doctor, he says not much we can do...anyone have a similar story? How long...
