Re: What are you sowing?
Pretty much the same here, I actually count on not too many seedlings surviving.
Which is fine, because I need three plants for my collection at most usually.
I take my one to two year old seedlings that I don't need to one of the monthly meetings of our local cactus club and give them away.

Re: What are you sowing?
Honestly? You can never be completely sure of course, but chamaecereus without a field number are a bit of a red flag to me
Simply because these get hybridized so much
That said, the first one does have locality data, so that is a bit comforting

Re: Arjen's 2017
I live in the netherlands so I am not really familiar with your kind of conditions, on hot days they may be a bit like the conditions in japan. that may especially be the case because I keep most of my cacti in my greenhouse where it can get very hot. I use a special kind of paint that blocks a good...

Re: Arjen's 2017
hello Harald, there is no such thing as a dumb question I use a small boxcutter and a chopstick to make room for navigating it, that's all no flowers today, I have made new benches in my greenhouse because the old material was all crooked and crumbling I don't know what this material is called in en...

Re: Nic's Cacti
hello Nic, it seems your collection is growing rapidly!
I do have a question about that G. mihanovichii though, was it grafted when you bought it?
it seems to be one of the forms lacking chlorophyl, which means it will probably not survive on its own roots...

Re: Arjen's 2017
