It's been a long time
I haven't posted for years but my Tricocereus grandifllorus hybrid made a huge show this spring. Fifty buds total. First flush of flowers was 16 flowers, the second a week later was 21 flowers. Now enjoying the last few opening.

Could use some help with this please. this is the first time this has bloomed for me. Flower is 2 in. across and the plant segments are 3-4 in.

Nice graftings... but how would you get off the grusonii when it gets large?? This plant grows very well on its own roots, even better than grafted. :wink: Regards Alex I'm not sure how I'll get it off there. The main reason I used it was because I had several. Large scale grafting fun
I had gotten some Cereus cuttings last year with the intention of using them as grafting bottom stock. The rooted and were growing like weeds so it was time. The grafts were a success. Now to see what happens from here. They measure 10-12 inches tall from the soil surface. http://www.cactiguide.com/...
