I guess i lost count on mine LOL!! I grow indoors and start seed/seperate pups/start cuttings and do alot of repotting durring winter months, i have a huge grow room with racks and lights, and durring the late spring and summer early fall months i grow everything outdoors in greenhouses.

Could be fungus gnats eating away at fungus and algae growing in your plant soil. The worse case scenario is their larvae are eating your roots. Thats not good wonder what happend, when using dry stall or any type oil dry i always take a handfull and place alittle water on it just enough to cover it and let it sit for few days to see if it stays in chunks or turns to mush. I have never had any probs yet..

I agree with everyone else A. subulata, the leafs will not grow back mine has them mostly at the top half of the plant. Also mine is like that to real tall and it gets full sun almost all day long.

No pictures but I have seen some growers use the blocks used for reptile aquariums. hey are about $4 a block in my area. All you do is plasce them in hot water and wait for it to expand. It is all fiber from what I remember when I used to care for a pet frog. Yup i used the same stuff for my frogs ...
