Could be the C. elephantidens , but there is one point , the C. eleph has normaly 7 spines there where yours counts only 6 spines, so be carefull

In any case an Aloe and in my opinion it should be the Aloe boylei. But plant needs more sun , comes from South Africa , Eastern Cape Province
To be sure you will have to wait for the flowers and than come back , so that I can identify exactly

seen the spines, in couple , I guess it is Euphorbia to , but tell us if you herth the plant is the sap a white sticking substance?? If so it will be Euph grandicornis
The best is to buy your plants in a local shop so that you can see what you are buying.
