ich, it just uprooted and toppled over. It was not leaning in anyway before the rain. the ground it not that great where it is

I really have no idea Daiv, the flower from it is in my 'spring flowers' thread. CoronaCactus mentioned it was Opuntia monocantha so I'm going with that

Yeah Brisvegas. Our area hasn't had it nearly as bad as some up here. So could be worse

It has rained heavily in the last week and the Opuntia fell over :( We are renting and this was already here, so not techinically mine but sad non the less. This is true haha. However being a poor university student prevents me from over spending on cacti. Most come from seeds these days which slows things up even more.

But I will try to keep a check on things
