Thanks everyone ^^

I've read about the "cereus" and it's how it's given as a kind of "general" name, but I don't quite understand why this cactus still doesn't have a specific name.

Is it still an "undetermined" species of cactus?

cheers~~~

Great post!

I thought I'd share a few too. Cactus are great cuz they never move, but they always change :D http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a156/Darkthes/DSCN2930-100dpi.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a156/Darkthes/DSCN2915-100dpi.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a156/Darkthes/DSCN2920-100dpi.jpg

2 weeks!

I've had it for 2 weeks, and watered once :( prior to relocating the plants, I've treated the soil with "fungus killer". I'm not sure, because I bought it in a sort of family mart in HK, and tje lable says it kills weeds, fungus, algae... and prevents soft rot. I'll post more info when I g...

Thanks and some pics!!

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep an eye to see if the need a grafting. But will the size be too big for grafting? I'm just wondering, if the top continues to grow, will it topple over? ^^; I've re-potted all my plants to give them better pots and remix the soil with more stones. I've taken these pic...

Thank you so much~~~

It's at my boyfriend's house, and he've put it near the window sill. He said it should be similar to Orchids then, where people will shine a light to it at night to give it "max light". Is that right? If he can give me a leaf, maybe I can try to root it ^^ Hope it's OK. If I need to root t...

Thank you very much!!!

So that's what it means!!! Thank you very very much!

I live in Hong Kong, which is very hot and quite humid here. But I think it'll be OK if I put it under the other big plants, to give it some friendly shade XD

Thank you for your help!!!

Hihi~ I was wondering, because I read this here http://www.cactiguide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5399&view=next And it says "This plant needs maximum light (not the same as maximum sunshine)" I saw this plant in the shop 2 weeks ago, I think, and when I got there yesterday, I saw that t...

Cotyledon undulata

I've read here about Cotyledon undulata, and thought it is so beautiful that I bought one XD But it mentions that to keep it growing "short" (instead of "leggy"), it needs maximum light. What does that mean? To have a light shine it 24/7? Does it need bright lights?

Thanks ^^
