Thanks everyone!
What should I do with the one with spidermites? I repotted them all today, but that guy seemed like a goner so I threw him in the green waste pile. Do you think he will come back from it? Will the spider mites spread?

Thank you! I will pick up some perlite tonight hopefully and repot them all tomorrow. At work I can easily repot a couple hundred plants a day. There is something relaxing about not fearing getting poked everytime I hold the plant! LOL! I need to invest in armoured gloves  I still remember the...

Thanks for the replies! Because I planted them only in regular soil which is full of peat (I know I know, how have ANY of them survived?!) I don't even bother trying to water the dirt anymore. I mist (though I go over them a few times) the plants once every couple of weeks or so. Is that ok? The fir...

Can you help me ID a few? Also a few questions
I have quite a few that I went to tag and had no idea what they are. I was hoping someone could help me out? I also have a few questions about some of them. I have had a couple of them ID before, but couldn't find the thread or the paper I wrote the names on :S 1) http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l...

A few sick cacti and repotting question
Hey all! I've got a couple of sick ones that I don't know what to do with. First I have a repotting question-I work at a teaching garden that also sells plants, etc.. Because I only have a few (ok, 15. No idea how that happened) small house cacti it is pointless for me to buy a bunch of different th...

Thanks for the replies! Took the second one out of it's pot. I ended up having to cut the pot to get it out. The result: http://www.cactiguide.com/forum/userpix/1580_Weight_001_1.jpg I ended up back at Wal-Mart today and decided to give into my addiction. They had some really nice m. elongotas last ...

2 (make that 4!) Wal-Mart refugees
I had to run up to Wal-Mart tonight for a couple small things. The section I went to was only a couple aisle from plants-so I figured I'd just have a peek. I definatly was NOT going to bring any home-I'm running out of room and am getting some seeds from Corona. But then I figured....a tiny one won'...

I'll be the first to admit the soil is horrible. It's hard as a rock right now as well, I couldn't find anything to repot them with out of the store soil except abit of potting soil we had left from that Spring/Summer. They've had to suffer with it this Winter as I couldn't find soil anywhere. Now t...

(does anyone know what type it is as well?) http://www.cactiguide.com/forum/userpix/1580_Cacti_012_1.jpg And my Mammi...
