You might say he is rubbing it in a little on this Christmas present. Me being a Tech fan. He also thinks theres a difference between...

It gets about 4-5 hrs direct afternoon sun a day, I am estimating. It has orange flowers when they bloom. I am thinking it is etiolated too. Just not sure. The top that is rounded gets even bigger when you water then goes to down as it dries out. What you see in the picture is what it looks like whe...

So far a tsp of peroxide in a pint of distilled water has slowed the algi. I sprayed the bag that also had algi with just peroxide and it stopped it.

Sick ferocactus

I bought a Ferocactus at Homedepot cause they were fixing to throw it away. Well when I got it home and took it out of the plastic pot I found out why. I know I need to quit picking up all the strays and I can't save them all. Anyway the roots were rotting. Actually they smelled like beer. Wel...

That is a beautiful snake. I know they are dangerous but they sure are useful if you have mice or rats.

Hydrogen Peroxide and seedlings

I was reading an article it said that peroxide was good for plants and it could be used to stop algi from growing. Can it be used on seedlings? The article didn't say. The solution was 1 tbs/gallon of water. It was in Epiphyllumforum.com. Someone said they had been using it on their older epis with ...
