I bought this cactus and i want to know what species this is....
Also i wonder what the horizontal line is?
Is it a growth disfunktion or maybe something else?

Wow 150* what an age for such a small plant.
And it seems even longer in cultivation...
I bed there are plants out there who reached that age in domesticated life.
Very nice.
My plant is at its beginnings.
I will try to take the best of care, for its future.

How old can it become?
Wil it overlive me ( im 41).
Do i have to chaince mij will?

One thing that came to mind, how wel camoflaged these litle cacti are.
Tr hard to spot between the rocks and the foliage.
Its hard to eat them if u cant see them, i.guess.
Plant survival stratigies, tr briliant.

And it is amazing how plant survival works.

P. Pachycladus and p. Azureus seem to be synonims, according to cactiguide.
But mine dont have furry aereoles.
